All tags are laser engraved unless ordered without engraving. Since they are engraved and not printed all images will be 2 colors, the color ordered (polish, raw, or anodized) and the white/gray that appears when engraved. There is no shading available, only the two colors. When selecting an image it is important to keep this in mind as multicolor pictures will require more work and show less detail than something that is monochrome.
Preferred vectored image files are .dxf, .pdf, .stp, .step, and .iges. NOTE: SAVING AN IMAGE IN ONE OF THESE FORMATS IS NOT THE SAME AS VECTORIZING. The image must be created or converted into one of these file types. If you do not have a vectored image or are unsure if you do, please feel free to reach out for a quote for us to vectorize the image for you or confirmation that your file is in the correct format.
